I have been involved in netball first as a player for 15 years and as a coach for 6. My aim is to engage my students by putting my wealth of knowledge and experience in to my bespoke session plans, tailored around the individuals and always having a fun approach at the centre of this. I have experience coaching and developing adults and children working with both teams and individuals to improve their skill, technique, knowledge, resilience and motivation.
I love to build confidence and empowerment amongst my players and help them to realise their full potential whether this be at a semi professional level or local league.
My passion would be to grow netball's presence within the state school curriculum, offering children more chances to take part in the competitive game, this is one of the reasons I run our local youth netball league. Netball has provided me with a purpose. It’s now offered a career pathway that I am very grateful for. Being able to connect with people within the netball community, alongside creating a community of players, I have made some great friendships over the years that I’m sure will last for a lifetime.
